Discount Appliance Centre Delivery Information
Standard One Man Delivery
This Service is either a doorstep delivery or a garage drop off. This service will usually come via a third party pallet company or via our own vehicles. We will always ensure the customer is aware of the service they are receiving and it will be stated on the item either online or when conversing with one of our sales staff. A standard delivery is the fastest and most efficient delivery service.
Expert Two Man Delivery Service
This is our professional dedicated two man delivery service where our delivery team will bring the goods into the ground floor of the property, un-box them if required and check the goods over with yourself. We offer additional services such as removal of doors and taking appliances up / down staircases, however, you may incur an additional charge so please contact the sales line if this applies as this is an added service.
Our professional delivery team can also remove an old appliance, install your new goods and even advise you on the products you have purchased. For recycling of the old machine or installation please either state on the order and await contact or call us and we can advise you of the cost.
Post Code Exceptions
We can deliver anywhere! However if you are not mainland England or Wales please contact us and we can quote for your postcode. It may not incur an additional charge however we must advise you on the delivery service you will receive. We also deliver anywhere internationally so please call us for a quote.
When To Expect Your Goods
If the Item Is in Stock we will aim to deliver anywhere from 7-21 days from the date of purchase. We can offer express services where the item can be with you on a next day delivery service if required. What happens if you can’t take delivery straight away? We here at the Discount Appliance centre will happily store your appliances for you until you require delivery. If you require certain items before others we can offer split delivery services but you may incur an additional charge.
To deliver the your appliances, we require clear access from the road to the point of drop off. Larger items may require more space and are normally completed with a two man crew. Please make sure that there are no obstacles that may prevent delivery of your products. When sizing an appliance please take into consideration both width and height.
Obstacles to be aware of
- Width of gates / gate frames
- Width of paths
- Low hanging branches
- Width and height of external doors
- Width and height of internal doorways
- Size of hallways
- Manoeuvring room within your property
Please note: Important
- When we bring your appliance into the property we use trolleys to manoeuvre the items. please make sure that any flooring that is easily scratched or damaged has adequate protection over it to prevent damage.
- It is your responsibility to make sure that the location where the item is to be delivered to has clear access and is free of obstacles.
- If there is no clear and safe access to the property our delivery teams may only be able to deliver the item to the property boundary.
